Early next year, Mobalytics and Tobii will launch a brand-new way for League of Legends (LoL) players to evaluate and improve based on their gaze data. It will be a first of its kind solution for competitive gamers and will be a game-changer for players who are interested in improving. If you want to be one of the first players to try the beta, planned for early 2020, go sign up here. …
It’s been very hard to find the time to write about what we are doing when we have so much to do, but I have come to realize that this is a backward way of thinking. There is always much to do, and sometimes taking a step back to write is the best thing to do it allows you to move farther away from the problems and see them in a new light.
It’s like opening your map when you are stuck in a dungeon. …
It’s been a long time! It’s hard to write these things when you’re busy, but more importantly, maybe that’s why we should be writing them more often. We were working really hard and didn’t want to announce anything until it was all ready for you.
Today, we are proud and excited to announce that we are launching our Mobalytics 2.0 Client. A lot of what you will see is based on the feedback and comments from you, so as always, our team would like to give a big thank you for keeping us pointed in the right direction.
We hope the last of your summer ended well — we’ve been hard at work to bring you some big things. In our last Changelog, we unveiled new features for our Pre Game and released our Community Trello Board.
In Patch 0.8, we’re upgrading our Gamer Performance Index with the addition of champion-specific GPIs. We’ll also have to temporarily take down our Post Game and Match History for maintenance and refurbishment. Unfortunately sometimes you have to break a few eggs to make an omelet but we promise the wait will be worth it!
As is tradition, here is…
In the last episode of the Mobalytics Changelog, we upgraded the usability of our GPI and advice system, and reworked our Toughness and Teamplay Skills into Survivability and Objectives.
In patch 0.7.5, we’re continuing our trend of improving our UI and bringing some new features to our Pre Game. As always, here’s our Warchief of Science with our Dev Update on the new changes:
If you’re more of a reader than a video watcher, stick around for the rest of our Changelog below.
The Pre Game is one of the most used parts of our platform so…
It’s been quite a while since you’ve heard from us on Medium — we’re finally back with some exciting changes. To start off, our team has been working on a new video series, the Mobalytics Dev Update.
The goal of the series is to provide an additional way to improve our communication with our community (taking a cue from some of our heroes).
It’s better to show than tell, so without further adieu, here’s our Mobalytics Dev Update for the 0.7.0 Patch.
The main TLDW is that we’ve reworked our advice system to encourage better navigation and…
We are making an effort to sticking to our two week patch cycle (approximately anyways!), so as promised, here is the latest batch of good stuff….
The next batch of Skill revamps are here! Last Changelog, we covered the violent ones (Aggression, Fighting) — for this update, we’re handling the fundamental Skills that few players like to develop, Farming and Vision!
Farming is one of the most simple stats in League — you get “X CS/min or you don’t, right? True, but we think it’s a little more nuanced than that.
Hail Valued Community,
You know how it goes: New year, new you, new us, all that BS. Over the holidays, we had some serious time to test the new features that we have been working on for a long time, and we are really excited to deploy them for the new season. There was so much we wanted to put in, but realized that if we wanted make it for the week of the patch, we better split things up.
Lets dive in.
2017 was an incredible year filled with challenges, triumphs, and most of all, learning. As we enter 2018, we wanted to give a look back through the eyes of our team of our story thus far. Starting from the very roots of the ideas that became Mobalytics, through winning Techcrunch and building our team, and onwards to the future.
Note: The following quotes were from talking to our team members separately, they were not together when retelling their perspectives- Agilio Macabasco (Head of Content)
Amine Issa (co-founder & Warchief of Science) : It never started as “Mobalytics”, I was always…
In our last post we gave a preview of our plans for the Preseason. This Changelog will cover the specifics of the upgrades that we’re excited to implement in our next update. First off, the Aggression rework that has been in the works for quite some time is VERY CLOSE but isn’t going live yet due to some backed infrastructure steps we are taking to make our percentiles more accurate.
However, we really want to give you a good look at what we’ve managed to do, and we hope to release Aggression really soon after this update. …
