Supermodel Gisele Bündchen gave the most memorable catwalk in history during the opening ceremony of the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Walking in her homeland of Brazil with billions of people watching, Gisele’s Olympic catwalk was so epic that we had to wait a week to let it settle in. Although, there are many things that we loved about it, we have narrowed it to 5, and we think you’ll agree!

No one had to give Gisele a gold medal, she brought all the gold she needed. The gold sequined column dress by hand-picked Brazilian designer Alexandre Herchcovitch, took four months to make.
“It’s a long dress, with a long train, pierced at the front, with pleats at the waist,” said Alexandre to Vogue. “It has long sleeves, a deep V-neck, and a thigh-high slit, leaving the legs fully exposed. The fabric is a mesh, covered with bright golden sequins, double-sided, embroidered horizontally.”
