While not likely right now , it’s very possible Republicans turn against Trump. As Nixon’s approval ratings percentage dipped into the 20s, even his staunchest allies began to turn against him. Also as the 2018 election season approaches, incumbent Republicans will feel the pressure of low approval ratings even more.
