The origins of Mother’s Day are said to be attributed to Julia Ward Howe and Anna Jarvis. But other sources say that it was Juliet Calhoun Blakely — through her sons, who initiated Mother’s Day in Albion, Michigan in the late 1800s. Her sons paid tribute to her each year and urged others to do the same.
Nowadays, there are many simple ways kids can celebrate Mother’s Day. We’ve rounded up some printable and activity sheets here so that we can celebrate our love for our moms!
