The culture of politeness we have here in Atlanta, of not wanting to openly discuss difficult things like politics, is dangerous in this era. We should be kind to each other, but we must also be clear and vocal about the threats that are staring us in the face. Political candidates who remain silent in the face of White Nationalism are not fit to lead and must be vigorously opposed. Community leaders who remain silent about White Nationalism are failing us.
