Equipment Types:
- Single-Hand Weapons: Increase attack power.
- Double-Hand Weapons: Increase attack power. (Upcoming in next releases)
- Shields: Increase defence power.
- Body Armor: Increase defence power.
- Accessories: Improve health and defence power.
- Pets: Offer various powers and earning opportunities.
Equipment Mechanics:
- Players can equip items by dragging and dropping them from their inventory to specific slots on the character profile
- Equipment provides additional stat values to the character (attack power, defence power, health, etc.).
- Limited equipment slots force players to make strategic choices about what gear to use, replace, or upgrade.
- Unused equipment can be stored or sold.
- Additional storage for gear can be available in the player’s home later in the game.
Player Stats and Influence:
- HP (Hitpoints): Represents the player’s life. It can be increased through healing, levelling up, or using better gear.
- ATT (Attack): Represents the damage dealt to opponents, influenced by equipment and critical hits.
- DEF (Defence): Reduces incoming damage, calculated as a percentage value.
- DEX (Dexterity): Increases the chance of critical hits.
- AGI (Agility): Increases the chance to dodge attacks completely.
Player Basic Stats:
- Starting HP: 50
- Starting ATT: 10
- Starting DEF: 0
- Starting DEX: 0
- Starting AGI: 0
Stat Influence and Level Ups:
- Level ups increase HP by 2 per level and ATT by 1 per level.
- DEF, DEX, and AGI only increase through gear.
- XP Requirement increases by 10 each level starting at 100 on level 1.
Level Unlocks:
- Different equipment slots are unlocked as the player levels up:
- Level 1: Hand 1, Chest, Legs, Pet
- Level 2: Shoes
- Level 3: Hat
- Level 4: Shoulders
- Level 5: Hand 2
- Level 8: Emblem/Necklace
Overall, this system provides players with a sense of progression and strategy as they explore the game world, defeat enemies, and gather better gear to enhance their character’s capabilities. The levelling system, gear choices, and various equipment types offer depth to the gameplay and encourage players to engage in various activities to improve their character’s power and abilities.
Item Level vs. Slot Level:
- The item level and slot level can differ. For example, a slot might unlock at level 2, but an item can have a higher level requirement (e.g., level 15) and thus cannot be equipped until the player reaches that level.
One-Hand Weapons and Shields:
- There are no two-hand weapons. Instead, there are one-hand weapons that can be equipped to both slots.
- Shields can only be equipped to the second slot. This allows players to use a combination of a one-hand weapon and a shield for defence.
Two-Hand Weapons:
- Two-hand weapons will occupy both hand slots when equipped. This means that if a player equips a two-hand weapon, they will not be able to equip any other items in the hand slots. This feature will be in upcoming releases.
Pets:
In upcoming releases we’ll have pets that will be loyal to you and give you various stat boosts as well as earning opportunities and rewards by our ecosystem partners.
