Apparently I should go on more “vacations” because I had the lowest spend weekend I’ve managed in awhile!
Friday: Stopped at Costco ($27), packed the car and departed for the Northwoods. ($40) for gas and ($10) for lunch while on the road.
Saturday: It was cold and rainy (yay!) so we gamed for 14 hours! (Sushi Go, Guillotine, BSG (5.5 hours), Mysterium, Flick ’Em Up, Codewords and Magic the Gathering if you are fellow gamer nerds).
Sunday: Delightful. A sunny, cool, fall feeling-day the consisted of lounging around, reading, light chores, chatting with grandparents and driving home. Awesome. We had a conversation with my husband’s bestie that made me realize the only thing really keeping us in the Twin Cities is our jobs. I’m hoping in a couple of years we’ll be able to make those more flexible and depart for a new adventure!
