I’m going to vote no on the shoes. I like the print, I just don’t dig the thick-sole look.
Friday: Ended up going out with a co-worker for happy hour. She’s had a good run of bad luck, so I bought her a couple of drinks ($12). Then my husband took me out for burgers and ice cream and we were in bed asleep by 9:30.
Saturday: Went to an outdoor car show and it was SO COLD and far windier than we had bargained for, so we only stayed for an hour. A very bad breakfast (even the Bloody Mary sucked) at the local American Legion followed ($14) and then I went grocery shopping ($71) and returned home to swap furniture between upstairs and downstairs and begin spring cleaning ($0, but so sore today.) Watched The Hateful Eight and enjoyed it, but the reviews I’d heard that argued it rivaled his other great films are incorrect IMO ($2).
Sunday: Cooking and small-scale home repairs and laundry and more cleaning ($0).
Estimated: $120
Actual: $99 — Whooooo!
