It was a good lesson. We’ve also not had dogs (well, I did, but that was 15+ years ago and a different life) and I dog-sit frequently but usually at the dog’s house. He whines CONSTANTLY. He wants to be walked 3 times a day (I have time for one). He dug a huge hole in my yard last night (his parent’s swear he doesn’t dig) and I lost my shit and was yelling BAD DOG and shaking my finger and everything, and today he was delightfully chill. IDK. We also need a dog door because our schedules are not conducive to running home to let the dog out.
