The leaves are really starting to change! I’m loving it!

Tonight: Costco run for cat food and other household necessities and party food ($100). I also need to go to Party City and buy more things for my SIL’s baby shower that I’m co-hosting on Sunday ($50). Tonight is also a friend’s last night in town before she moves to Duluth, so we’ll probably see her and maybe eat food ($30).

Saturday: WE’RE GETTING RID OF OUR DOG!!! Whoooo! It’s not really OUR dog — we’ve been dog-sitting for the past two weeks while his parent’s were on their honeymoon — and I will be so stoked to see him gone. He’s a sweet boy, and I am grateful for the experience since it has thoroughly convinced us that dog ownership is not for us. (At least not of the high-energy, large-ish dog variety…we need a pooch in it’s twilight years.) Lunch with a couple of friends ($20), groceries ($50) and more baby shower things ($30) before baking up a storm for the party.

Sunday: Shower time! 50+ people have RSVP’d to this so it should be really crazy. Hopefully it lives up to my SIL’s expectations (the list of requests was only 21 items long!) and she doesn’t get mad at any of us. RELAXING in the evening is definitely ON TAP!
