Moms employment problem

Despite the fact that in the past decades’ massive changes were introduced for women regarding employment, challenges women face to be able to realize their full economic potential still need critical attention. Multiple initiatives and campaigns have been created: e.g., United Nations has ‘Empower Women’ program (https://www.empowerwomen.org/en), European Union (EU) is promoting female entrepreneurship via several initiatives (https://ec.europa.eu/growth/smes/promoting-entrepreneurship/we-work-for/women_en) and dedicating 2017 year for women to come back to labor market.

The need to raise this problem in public is even more critical when we talk about the most sensitive group — moms. Becoming a mom is one of the most important life periods and in several cases, it becomes a constraint to get back into rapidly changing technology - driven market as new skills need to be relearned or even gained. Despite the fact, that this is a well-known problem, most of the programs and initiatives usually do not touch real moms. There is no such initiative which has changed current situation from scratch. Or such a community, a platform which has inspired millions of moms to start their entrepreneurship journey with faith and confidence on the way. We do not recognise any solution which is popular enough or made a significant difference if talking about women employment or moms entrepreneurship topic. Something big and memorable.
