Great Post Jamie! I actually wanted to do my blog on the science of hip hop too, but couldn’t really figure out how. So it’s really cool to see that you made it work! It’s clever how you made your topic relevant to the class by incorporating sampling as the science. Your examples are interesting too, It’s cool to hear the original songs of things that were sampled into music we hear all the time today! I think it’s less noticeable, but is sampling used in other genres of music too?
