When starting this project, we wanted to create a cannabis-inspired NFT collection that would give our community utility in the music and cannabis industries. With a little over four months since we launched, we’re already budding the industries together for the first time.
When we originally released our collection of 10,420 Buds, we ended up selling out in just a couple of hours into our pre-sale period. Since then, we’ve cultivated an incredible, passionate community of over 10,000 followers on Twitter and 20,000 Discord members. We are thankful to each and every one of our buds we’ve met along the way!
Roadmap
At MonsterBuds, we move on a High Way! We’ve already rocketed through Phase 1 of our roadmap and now we’re on track to turn this little globe into an entire MonsterBud universe.
Starting with our initial utility pass, the Puff Puff Pass, we ended up saving our community thousands of dollars by avoiding gas wars during our mint. Since then, the Puff Puff Pass has given a ton of utility including free NFT claims, project collaborations, and now the biggest utility yet — VIP access to a number of IRL cannabis events over the next couple of months.
We’ve already cultivated several huge cannabis partnerships / sponsors, including Raw Rolling Papers, Packwoods, and Cannabis Talk 101 for starters. These companies signify the incredible positioning that MonsterBuds has right now and we’re not planning on slowing down anytime soon.
Not a fan of IRL events? No worries, we’ve worked endlessly over the last few months to provide as much value as we can possibly can to our community. You can use your Buds to smoke them, breed them, trade them on our own dedicated marketplace, create new designs for profile pics, and soon-to-come, use them in our upcoming play-and-earn game.
Adding to the list, we’re working on new partnerships with cannabis and CBD brands all over the world to provide additional value back to our holders, through limited-edition subscription boxes, free merch, discount codes, and much, much more.
What’s next?
With three huge cannabis events coming up, including Kushstock, the Emerald Cup, and our very own MonsterBuds 4/20 event, the IRL benefits will be dank af! (Especially for our PPP holders). We also have our play-and-earn game and utility token $DANK coming. To date, we’ve been slowly releasing some of the artwork and the mechanics behind the game and we cannot wait to leak more. We have also started monitoring the community wallet, which is funded through the MonsterBuds Marketplace fees. Once that starts to build up more, we will create a Decentralized Bud Organization — where Buds will be able to vote on what to put the funds towards based on the number of tokens they hold.
