Mike loves Bikes

I have always had an entrepreneurial spirit and curious nature. As a young kid, I worked under my Dad’s watchful eye, tinkering with cars, motorcycle and bikes in our garage.

Now with 20 years of experience in business development, sales and finance, I am what you could call it a seasoned entrepreneur who enjoys shepherding innovative ideas to market. I have co-founded multiple early-stage ventures across several industries, including finance, mortgage banking, and high tech. In 2012 I founded and was the Chief Innovator for Whackamole Labs. Under my direction, the lab created several innovative new products including:

· ModoBike, a hybrid e-bike that promises to change urban transportation with its innovative design.

· CheckSpin, a mobile app that creates a fair and balanced way for restaurant-goers to decide who pays the bill.

· TattyTat, a mobile app experience that lets users design their own personalized temporary body art.

I established Moox Bikes for one simple reason: to ride and glide. While commuting to work on Cal Train, I noticed the wide range of transportation methods and realized something was missing. Inspired, I rushed back to my garage and created an innovative design that combined fun with functionality. Cutting and welding together a bicycle and a raw steel, the Moox Bike was born.

Born and raised in San Francisco, I enjoy travel and seeing new places around the world. My most recent travels to Asia have provided the opportunity for some adventurous cuisine sampling. A personal goal of mine is to ride a bike on every continent, current count is three, and I can’t wait to start doing it on a Moox Bike. :) Peace.
