The Glass Half Empty

We’ve all heard it. It’s a lesson on perspective. Do you focus on what you have or what you’re lacking? Are you optimistic (glass half full) or pessimistic (glass half empty)?

What if we’re thinking of the glass all wrong?

To the entrepreneur, a ‘glass half empty’ means potential and possibilities.

A glass half empty is whitespace for fresh, new things.

Half empty means there is room to improve and grow.

Empty isn’t implicitly negative. It can be freeing, compelling, and inspiring.

In the end, the phrase you use to define the glass matters very little. Your attitude towards that phrase however, is truly telling.
