Dear Rich White People,

First there’s no war against you. Second, you’re not a victim. Or you’re the most posh privileged victim I’ve ever witnessed. What is going on is some people are waking up to the fact that tax breaks for the rich do not trickle down… it still amazes me that there are poor people, 99%ers, who support the over inflation of wealth at the top. The people who believe working hard to become wealthy entitles you to take advantage, whether it be tax havens or supporting unlivable wages or even the international sweat shop labor.

Rich white people, you need to recognize that when someone famous or wealthy does stand up for the cause of livable wages or the wealth inequality and distribution in this country, the typical commentary or pointing out their second or third home or their own wealth doesn’t discredit them from supporting a cause. The equivalent is saying white people can not support black lives matter or stand in solidarity with any minority on inequality issues. And it amazes me when other middle classers take that positioning, it’s like hearing someone of ethnicity yelling stay home whitey to any white person coming out to show their support in righting the wrong of the injustices done. I hope this analogy helps people understand the idiocracy of their defending the 1%. It’s un-defendable. You should understand how messed up that would be for a discriminated people to discriminate against someone trying to help the cause… well I guess, unless you’re a racist piece of sh*t.

Rich white people, you can stop applauding yourself for being job creators. Most jobs you create are jobs with barely livable incomes, comparatively to the bonuses and golden parachutes you’ve designed into the structure for yourselves, I’d hesitate to pat myself on the back. Most homes have both parents working and have more than one job. So I don’t know how commendable that is, unless you’re commending yourelves on your ability to come in under budget and figuring new ways to spread the workload but not increase anyone’s pay. I guess to a shareholder it’s commendable. And that’s all that matters nowadays — shareholders.

Just so everyone is aware — the CEO to worker compensation ratio went from 20 — 1 in 1965, to peaking at 376 — 1 in 2000 then “leveling out” at roughly 300 — 1 today.

Unless I stood out from the atypical 1%er “work creator” I wouldnt be bragging about being the cause of the income divide. Oh maybe that’s why rich white people are so insecure about having a fake war being waged on them. So concerned about relating to the blue collar worker (to gain favor and approval) then they leave the conversation in a helicopter to weekend at their summer home. Just so everyone is aware — the CEO to worker compensation ratio went from 20 — 1 in 1965, to peaking at 376 — 1 in 2000 then “leveling out” at roughly 300 — 1 today. How the f*ck did that happen. Seriously, if Reaganomics trickle down bullish happened, wasn’t the whole point of that to allow companies to keep more money to put it back into the workforce? Seriously, was 150 to 1 not enough, even 200 to 1? This must have taken place over some rocket fuel cocaine where greed and privilege ran rampant, I’m guessing sometime in the 80s. Maybe I’m misunderstanding the concept of trickle down. It seems like quite the opposite has happened. But really though, we were supposed to trust rich white people asking other rich white people to keep more of their money in promising they’d share the wealth? I don’t know, little sketchy just basing it on rich white people’s history through all of civilization.

From ‘78 to 2014 the inflation adjusted CEO compensation went up 997% all while the typical workers compensation went up a whopping 10.9%. Is that not the definition of inequality? How do you argue that rich white people? It’s Greed. Seems like you definitely kept up with inflation rates and are doing just fine, I don’t think you are struggling to keep the lights on. Are you really going to say you worked that much harder? I think trickle down didn’t work. Guess what we haven’t tried? And everyone seems real scared to try, creating a living wage for people. You’d think it was the end of days and everyone was going to close up shop when you bring this up. But the truth is that your greed really did almost capsize America and you needed bailouts. Why not try something new? We know greed worked to get you rich, are you scared we may make enough money to live comfortable and get greedy too? Don’t. Don’t worry, most of the poor people I know donate when they don’t have enough to eat. They give you a shirt even when it was their only one. They truly break bread with you.

Rich white people, the next point I would like to address is the one I’ve been asked ever so often — how much is too much? And I’ve been asked this so so often, and just as often in an asshat-esque douchebaggerous tone. Always accompanied by the typical “well I’ve worked hard so why should anyone tell me how much I can make”. Which I agree with, also why I’ve often said the answer to the question is not a number but a theory. And believe you me, it is opposite of greedy. That if you’re not struggling but the people you employ are and they are, due in large part to being overworked with unfair wages — then you are officially the problem. Don’t you think you could still make profit margins and pay people enough that they have a savings? Or would the profits just not be big enough, like a 997% rise. WTF

It’s a funny Mentality out here, I think so many workers have that “just being thankful to work” Mentality or.. the other real popular Mentality is the working two jobs “badge”. I’ve heard so many middle to lower class people criticize each other when someone speaks up about wages. The typical response attacks the person saying they’re weak, soft and fragile for complaining about their pay, and goes on to boost about how many jobs they worked or are still working and how they’re not complaining about. It’s sad. And it’s exactly what rich white people want. If poor people argue with each other and shame each other and discourage each other about speaking up and speaking out, then the attention comes off rich white people. Get someone else to do your dirty work for you.

I will say this, to the very few, to those top people who see the inequality. Even though some try to discredit you because you’re at the top, but you probably really did actually work hard, didn’t have a luxurious upbringing, and know the struggle, thank you. For those rich white people who weren’t always rich, and do pay a fair wage, thank you. The ones who truly didn’t rig the system, so it is possible for the working class to move on up and don’t have their workers struggling to make ends meet working multiple jobs so they can’t move anywhere but are in a constant state of financial hardship, to you I give my gratitude. And the other reason we need rich white people to stand up is because you created this. Without you acknowledging it, we can’t undo it. The real faux war happening is not against you, but against something that you claim doesn’t exist. So how can we even be fighting?
