This was a really excellent read. The dialogue really hits the spot, whimsical yet totally believable. I really got that feeling of being third wheel for a couple who have developed a unique tone between them. In that way i it reminded me a bit about Achewood when it is at its best.

P.S. 
The notion of a cinematic “true-niverse” had me legit laughing out loud despite being alone in a room which i think is rarer than the widespread usage of “LOL” would imply.
