No, you didn’t know the EXACT location but you DID know exactly what route to go to and you knew they were in the grass somewhere on that route. For that matter you knew that you could find any pokemon by walking back and forth in a straight line a few feet. That’s simply not the case with Pokemon GO. In rural areas (you know, where you find most of the Pokemon in the other games) they aren’t just unlikely to spawn, but when they do, there’s a LOT of literal ground to cover. We don’t even bother playing at home anymore, instead opting to go into town and SIT at a triumvirate of pokestops and wait. This, to me takes a majority of the fun out of the game.
