What To Expect From Me (MSID-Entrepreneur)

OK, let me assume that I will graduate with good grades (fingers crossed!) By the end of the graduation, I should have an internship in my hand already and hopefully it should be a full time employment. I want to work for a design studio as UX/UI designer and earn as much possible. I will pick something that most suits my interests, experience and skills. In applications I want to demonstrate my passion and knowledge for that particular path. I strongly believe to follow my interests and choose a path which his UX/UI, which I am enthusiastic about. It will help me to get the jobs I want and to build a career long-term.

But I’ve got long list to do after I graduate other than finding a perfect job!!!

First job is not a defining one

A career is wonderful, but you can’t curl up with it on a cold night. — Marilyn Monroe

Many graduates think their first job will determine their future career path. It won’t. The world of work will change, so I will try to think instead about what I would like to do in the next 12–24 months to make the decision more manageable. Meanwhile, I will improve my career skills and keep on adding projects to my portfolio for better opportunities.

Driver’s License Please!!!!!!!!!!!!

Before I graduate, I have to get my driver’s license. It is a pain to commute to places without own transport. Asking uber for pick and drop is costing me a lot. You might say ‘Take bus or train’, no ways!!! It is time consuming and no comfort.

Staying Nearby or Moving Away

Whether I will be staying at the same place where I am at right now or move across the country, I will need to take care of few important issues in life. If I am moving out from this house, I need to change my bank, change my address in the magazines, in amazon account etc. If living in new place or state or city, I need to figure out about the places like movie theatres, pubs, bars, restaurants, grocery stores, malls, gas stations etc. I should get familiar with neighbourhood. Then sooner or later, I need to subscribe myself to magazines, newspapers and find a good gym because I like to work out to stay healthy and fit.

Buying A Car

The most important thing to buy right after I get my pay check is THE CAR! I know I can’t buy a car with one pay check but if I am eligible to get a car loan, I will definitely buy one for myself for a comfort travel. After all, I will be working and I need a car to go to work.

Insurance

Now that I am on my own after graduating, I need to find my own health insurance. I know most of the companies do offer health insurance and other benefits which I have to look into it in details and get most benefited out of it.

Deal With Success or Failure

Back to my career. I think my first day at the job is most important one. First impression is the best impression. And I need to maintain my reputation as a good designer. I will be dealing with clients, boss, work and I will be representing my organization. I should consider myself as mentor within the company.
