Marvel Updates: Punisher Netflix Series, Civil War Teasers and More

Marvel has Officially announced “The Punisher” to Have his own Series on Netflix

The series will star the same amazing character from the Netflix series Daredevil. For anyone who isn’t familiar with the show, I highly recommend checking this out. The Punisher series will take place after the events of season 2 and Jon Berthnal will keep the role he fits perfectly. The Daredevil showrunner Steven DeKnight was asked about the rating of the series and he said this:

I’ve been a huge fan of the Punisher comics for years. I’d love to see him get his due on a platform like this. Nothing would delight me more than to see the Punisher get his own show and maybe we could convince Marvel to go Hard-R rating. If any character deserves an R rating, it’s the Punisher.

Disney prefers to keep the Marvel shows in the PG-13 rating but hopefully they’ll come through with that R rating. Maybe even the great success of Deadpool will convince Disney and Marvel that an R rating is possible?

Bucky vs Black Panther (another) Teaser

Anyone else in love with T’Challa’s suit?

(Link provided below)

Yes this is happening again. Marvel has done the impossible and made us even more excited to go see Civil War May 6th. A teaser video was released that shows top-notch hand to hand combat from mostly the mysterious Black Panther and poor Bucky struggling to defend himself. Just looking at all the teasers and trailers that have been released already, we’ve seen the metal armed soldier fight Agent Carter, Black Widow, Cap, Black Panther and Iron Man. Maybe this movie should be renamed Bucky Barnes vs everyone.

Deadpool Sequel Officially Announced

Are we surprised? No, not really. Are we excited? Of course. After the amazing success the first Deadpool had, how could Marvel not? Anyone who stuck around for the post credit Bueller scene after the movie knows Ryan Reynolds teased Cable being in the sequel and fans are not apposed to this. As a fan of the Deadpool and Cable comics myself, I think this would be almost as perfect as a Spider-man and Deadpool crossover movie. If only.

Spider-Man: Homecoming Movie Announced and Iron Man Crossover

Possibly the most controversial topic in Marvel right now; Spiderman. We all love the character-there’s no doubting that. But the new suit, move title, actor and retro look? That’s quite a different story. I’ve seen tons of criticism over this but hopefully fans will feel more confident with spidey after he appears in Civil War. Most movie reviews have complimented and praised Tom Holland’s spiderman and I too look forward to his new look.

Even if you did have a problem with the movie, hopefully the fact that Tony Stark will make a feature in the film would make it more appealing. The relationship between the two should be interesting considering they’re on the same team against Captain America.

Chris Pratt is Now on Snapchat

This may seem like minor news to some, but to others like me this is the greatest things to happen in 2016. His username: ChrisPrattSnap. You’re Welcome.
