It’s here! MozFest 2019 has officially begun! Tonight, at this very moment, we’re opening the event with a very special anniversary edition of the Science Fair at MozHouse, at the Royal Society of the Arts.

We’re welcoming and celebrating projects, people, and partner organizations from throughout the Festival’s history. Come chat with the likes of Ushahidi, Glitch and Jam Lab.

Check out projects like Greenbeam, Hyperaudio, and ReStart Cafe. Science Fair is at MozFest House (RSA, 8 John Adam St, London WC2N 6EZ) TONIGHT Friday Oct 25, from 18:00 to 22:00.

Fight for your right to… Repair! At Science Fair.

Tomorrow, Saturday 26 October, get to Ravensbourne (6 Penrose Way, London SE10 0EW) bright and early. You’ll want to arrive by 8:30 am to grab a coffee, your copy of the MozFest book, and a good seat for our Opening Circle. We’ll be bringing the celebratory birthday vibes, so you won’t want to miss this kick-off! And of course expect an appearance from everybody’s favorite giant orange furry open internet mascot, Foxy.

Saturday promises an incredible array of experiences, from our unique Arts & Culture offerings, to sessions for everyone from activists to coders, to a Youth Zone that’s truly out of this world.

Youth zone 2018

Session blocks begin just after the Opening Circle, at 10 am, and run until 17:30. Take a break for lunch (served from 12:00–14:00) and conversation with your new best friends. Or head over to the Dialogues & Debates space on floor 0 for lively discussion and enlightening insights from some of the world’s thought leaders in the internet health movement. Don’t forget to caffeinate and hydrate, you’ll need energy to explore all 9 floors of the Festival and play a round of AI-themed oversized Jenga before heading off to our super special Saturday Night Party from 19:00–00:00 at The Fable, 52 Holborn Viaduct, Holborn, London EC1A 2FD.

Party time!

Sunday 27 October, roll in to Raves between 9:00 and 10:45 for our Networking Breakfast, and share a coffee with yet more new friends. Then dive back in and check out still more sessions (full schedule is here)… New at this year’s festival is our Neurodiversity Space (co-curated by Wrangler Leena Haque)… Don’t let the weekend slip by without a visit to the special environment they’ve constructed on the 8th floor! Have lunch (served from 12:00–14:00) check out more amazing sessions, more speakers. Trade stickers, trade ideas, network, collaborate, maybe get involved in a mysterious game that may or may not be taking place on the 5th floor…. And before you know it, it will be time for our Closing Party, from 17:30 to 20:00 at Raves.
