Sounds nice. My only issue with it is age. Given that Force Awakens happens about 20–30 years after the originals, and Obi Wan was already an old man, let alone dead by episode 4, Rey would have to be in her mid to late 30s to exist.

Furthermore, it’s less likely that he had a kid around episode 4, so she’d probably be almost as old as Luke for it to be believable to any audience.
