Press ‘Home to Unlock’ iPhone / iPad in #iOS10 — How to turn that off, right now!.

Despite mixed reviews on the pro’s and con’s of #iOS10, one thing we are all united on is the senseless need to press the home button to unlock your iPhone or iPad. — Things used to be much simpler on iOS9 of course, needing only to lay your finger on the ‘TouchID’ sensor and boom!

Well fear not, I've had a good look around the settings and found a way to revert to instant unlock with ‘TouchID’.

From your home screen Launch Settings >>

iOS 10 Settings to turn off Press ‘Home to Unlock’

Now open General >>

iOS 10 General to turn off Press ‘Home to Unlock’

Now pop into Accessibility

iOS 10 Accessibility to turn off Press ‘Home to Unlock’

Have a scroll down until you see Home Button

iOS 10 Home Button to turn off Press ‘Home to Unlock’

Turn ‘Rest Finger to Open’ to the ON position

So that’s it, Voila! — Thank me later, or right now by sharing this with others. Don’t forget to follow me on Twitter @MrDearg Happy iOS’ing.
