Your phone is your worst enemy

It’s 7am. The alarm goes off.

You roll over, pick that phone up and before your eyes have adjusted to the bright light, you start scrolling through that laundry list of notifications

Emails.
Facebook notifications.
Instagram DM’s.
Youtube comments.

Looking at your phone in the morning is something we’re all guilty of… but surely it has to be one the worst thing you can do?

You’re immediately letting other people take control of your day.

In a survey of 2,000 workers in the UK, Future Work Center found that email notifications are linked to higher feelings of anxiety.

Combine that with all the other notifications you’re getting…

It’s not exactly setting you up for the best day is it?

I’m always looking to improve is my morning routine and not looking at my phone is one of the best things I’ve done.

The first 30 mins of my day definitely impact how the rest of my day goes so I try and kick it off properly…

Some of the things I try and do:

👉 Don’t look at my phone till I’m up and out of bed

👉 Drink a big glass of water and take multi vits

👉 Have a high protein breakfast

👉 Exercise (gym/stretching/walk)
