After a long time doing research on crypto, experienced a lot of protocols…finally Nori found Link3… He found this is a great Team! and he’s been contributing to CyberConnect/Link3 until now.

Nori:
Web3 Social will be a key trigger for the market within couple of months.I’m feeling the same energy in web3 like last year after the merge, projects are working together in the Web3 social space to build together, when people are building the web3 version of marketplace, like nft marketplace. People wonder, where is the web3 social media?

Roy_Shen:

Later time, projects can raffle NFTs in the raffle function
please check details in the handbook above
Purpose of the Raffle:
- From org: increase the engagement for the community
- From member: Interesting experience with raffle

Nori:
Raffle is working great! It helps boost up retweets and engagement.
When brands see this kind of attraction, more organization and traditional business want to get into web3.
From the old time, people’s view on web3 is about buying NFT and sell them.
Link3/Cyber Connect — the bridge from TraFi to Web3 Company
Now, people are seeing more potential with web3. Attending events, RT, promote, gather together, chat and talk. This is completely new way of understanding web3
Recently hosted a festival. After the event, it was easy to bring speakers onto a Twitterspace on Link3!

Roy:
Issue on Claiming W3ST through Twitter Space:
- The limit said 1000. However more than 1000+ member can claim W3ST. Please don’t be frustrated
- We’ll talk to Twitter to support this API issue
- As a decentralized protocol..Team cannot add or remove address of claiming/deactivate W3ST. Please understand

Question: Any plans for alternative networks like other chains for W3ST? other EVM & Aptos?
Roy: we’re working with BNB Chain
We’ll collect feedback from link3 members/organisations to see if they really need W3ST on the other chains
Polygon and arbitrum is feasible in the future

Nori:
What platforms can we see the W3ST display? For example LIGHT, that will be great since holders can connect to other holders. Any plans to connect to other platforms?

Roy:
W3ST display is for suring coming to Link3 personal profile And it is very easy to deploy display on other platform.
Pretty easy for W3ST to display in the other platforms, just a time matter
By design, each W3ST is under individual contracts. make it more composable and interoperable.
Display W3ST on Link3 at first.. then the other platform..later 🤝soon

Nori:
When is the time where everyone will be access to use Link3 event planner?

Roy:
We are researching about web3 events. Not only projects host events. Also influencers, KOLs, bloggers.
By current product design, event planner is only for organization now. We want to test how it works with organizations and projects first.
But by the design of Cyberconnect protocol, anyone with a profile NFT will be able to issue a token.
So individual use for Link3 is definitely possible.
This is something we’ve been researching and will bring out at the right time
Product Update from two days ago:
1. Event host can select language for the event.
2. Event host can add topics to the event.

There will be filters to better navigate through different events
Product roadmap: We’ve just had internal discussion about what’s coming to link3. We have a team about 15 engineers working on Link3. The question is what features to bring out first with our limited bandwidth
For us to bring out recommendation for users, we need more analytics on events.

Final Q: Plan for token?
Roy:Not right now,lol
We’ve had many internal discussion. But the current plan is not launching the token before the end of year.
Due to current market condition, until the end of this year…no token…maybe next year

Several reasons:
1. we just closed our last round of fundraising. We have enough fund for 3–4 years of run down.
2. market condition is a risk.
But token is absolutely on the roadmap.
Current plan is focus on product before the end of the year. Token is not the only most important thing for the growth of the project

Product quality is at the first priority. We’ll focus on that.

We also need to build the community, which is another important part of the project.
the entire web3 social space is still early.

We’re still early, you’re still early… for Web3.

For members who’ve been with our community for a while, you know how is our team. and what are the things we are building.

a quick look back to the amazing data.

7k-10k Daily Active Users (on-chain data)
120k w3st minted over the past 4 weeks
50 Organizations with 118 W3ST issuing events
in total there are more than 150 events

Although our numbers are not the biggest in the industries yet, but we definitely feel like we are on the right track with the numbers we get in first month.
The focus is on keep working on what’s working and continue doing it.

How to support us:
- Please use link3, experience link3 and give us more feedback to improve the product

Building the product and the community.
