What Is Generative Art?

Generative art is art that is self-contained and lives entirely on the blockchain, in terms of creation, storage, and ownership.

When you mint, the transaction hash is seeding the generative algorithm that decides how the output gets rendered. Each output is an NFT.

What is fxhash?

fxhash is an open platform where artists can publish generative art, and where collectors can browse, buy, and curate artworks.

fxhash has a vibrant community, and many artists who are today on Ethereum started there. fxhash uses the Tezos blockchain to store its smart contract.

You can access the site here: fxhash.xyz

What is Tezos?

Tezos is a proof-of-stake smart contract blockchain with very cheap transaction fees compared to Ethereum, often just for a fraction of a cent.

For Tezos, I recommend that you use the Temple Wallet because it’s very similar to MetaMask. You can download it on templewallet.com

How to Purchase on fxhash?

Once you’ve installed the Temple Wallet browser extension or phone app, go convert a few dollars into tez. All major exchanges support it (symbol: XTZ).

Then go to fxhash.xyz, connect your wallet, and click the buy button as you would on any other marketplace!
