A very good point — thank you, Jim. Definitely didn’t mean to suggest interactive theatre was a brand new creation; this piece was to question whether an increasing willingness of audiences to engage with it might be connected to another, more globally popular, form of story-telling. And in interactive theatre, I’d also include things such as the pre-film performances that have attracted huge return audiences to Secret Cinema.
