Siyar Bahadurzada: A look back at his pre UFC fights from 2008–2011

Siyar Bahadurzada vs Kazuo Misaki 03–05–2008

Siyar Bahadurzada landed a couple of hard OHR’s early in R1 .

Shortly after Siyar landed the OHR’S Misaki took Siyar down w/ a BL-OLT. Siyar then spent a good portion of R1 on his back defending Kimura attempts on his left arm. Siyar was able to create a scramble and get a REV and put Misaki on his back in FG w/ about a minute left in R1. Siyar landed some GNP and kept Misaki on his back for the remainder of R1.

At the beginning of R2 Misaki had some swelling in his left eye from the OHR’s Siyar landed in R1. They exchanges some good shots early in R2 then Siyar shot in for a TD that Misaki stuffed. Siyar tried to force the TD and Misaki locked up a guillotine and got the Tap in R2 .

Siyar Bahadurzada next fought Evangelista “Cyborg” Santos at Sengoku 5 on 11–01–2008.

Evangelista Santos landed a hard OLK in the opening seconds of R1. Santos then landed a good SP-BACK-FIST that made Siyar shoot in for a single. Santos stuffed the single and they ended up in the clinch. Siyar went for an OLT-TD and as they went to the mat Santos stuck his left arm out to break the fall and his arm was injured and the fight stopped. Siyar got the win at 22 seconds of R1.

Siyar Bahadurzada taps to a HH early in R1

Siyar Bahadurzada tapped to a HH at 1:10 of R1. Siyar initiated the ground game by taking Santiago down early in R1 which turned out to be a big tactical mistake.

Siyar Bahadurzada next fought Leandro Silva at Shooto Brazil 13 on 08–27–2009

Siyar Bahadurzada rocked Leandro Silva w/ an OHR then dropped Silva w/ a follow up OHR and finished him off w/ GNP at 3:14 of R1 back in 2009.

Siyar got taken down w/ a DL in the opening seconds of R1.

Just like in the Misaki fight, Siyar was controlled on his back for a good portion of R1 and was in KIM trouble also. Jocz went for another KIM attempt w/ about a minute and a half left in R1 and it allowed Siyar to escape and get off his back and back to his feet w/ just over a minute left in R1.

Robert Jocz shot in for a DL early in R2. Siyar was able to sprawl out and stuff it while getting top control in FG. Siyar kept Jocz on his back for the remainder of R2 while landing some GNP.

Robert Jocz shot in for a DL in the opening seconds of R3 but Siyar stuffed it then landed some good knees to the head of Jocz.

Siyar then backed Jocz against the ropes and landed a good RC-LH and into the clinch. Siyar then took Jocz down w/ a BL-OLT.

Siyar landed some hard shots to the body and controlled Jocz on his back in FG until the Ref stood them up at about 2:39 of R3.

Jocz looked gassed as he stood up for the restart and immediately closed the distance and initiated the clinch. Jocz tried to force a sloppy BL-TD and Siyar easily defended and ended up in TC in FG w/ about 2 minutes left in R3. Siyar kept Jocz on his back for the remainder of R3.

Siyar Bahadurzada next fought Carlos Pereira at Shooto Brazil 17 on 08–06–2010

Siyar landed a good knee that looked to stun Pereira early in R1.

They got into a wild exchange and as Pereira backed Siyar against the cage, Siyar landed a monster LH that dropped and ended the fight at 1:10 of R1.

Siyar Bahadurzada next fought Derrick Nobel on 10–16–2010

Siyar landed a good Superman-RC then dropped Derrick Noble w/ a RH and finished him w/ GNP at 1:54 of R1.

Siyar Bahadurzada next fought John Alessio on 01–19–2011

Siyar put big pressure on John Alessio and hurt him early in R1.

After hurting John Alessio, Siyar kept the pressure on and got the finish at 1:55 of R1.

Siyar Bahadurzada next fought Tommy Depret on 05–28–2011 (His last fight before his UFC debut)

Tommy Depret landed a couple of hard OLK’s early in R1.

Depret got hit w/ a kick to the groin and the fight was stopped so he could recover. On the restart Siyar landed a good OHR and a knee.

Tommy Depret landed a stiff Jab that looked to stun Siyar and bloodied his nose.

Siyar backed Depret up w/ big shots that made Depret shoot in for a DL. Siyar stuffed the DL but then went for a guillotine attempt and ended up on his back. Siyar went for a HH and Depret defended and attempted a HH of his own.

Depret defended the HH attempt and dropped back for a HH attempt of his own. Siyar was able to defend and use it to get TC w/ about 2:50 left in R1 and he kept Depret on his back for the remainder of R1.

Siyar rocked Depret several times in R2 and had Depret on ice skates. Siyar put some big pressure on Depret and had Depret backing up for the majority of R2.

Siyar dropped and finished Tommy Depret at 4:16 of R2.
