I think this is different. For one, most of the teams and players from the past that I really think of as great were great because they faced adversity. They had epic playoff battles. They didn’t coast to championships which it’s highly likely this Warriors team will do. Durant may see the NBA as a place to perfect his craft and not a spectacle but the reason he even has that platform is because it is a spectacle to the fans.
