Mercedes launches G-Class-inspired NFT collection at Nifty Gateway
German car manufacturer Mercedes celebrated its entry into the NFT space with the release of an NFT collection dedicated to its iconic G-Class series. The NFTs will be developed by an eclectic line-up of artists from the CryptoArt collective, Art2People, under the aptly named NF-G Challenge.
The NFT Drop takes place on Nifty Gateway on January 23rd as part of a one-hour auction from 6pm to 7pm EST, with each NFT ranging in price from $222 to $1,554.
The NFT projects will be created by Anthony Tudisco, Roger Kilimanjaro, Baugazm, Clarence Malluta and the combined efforts of Charlotte Taylor and Anthony Auty. The artists have varied backgrounds in the music industry, fashion, graphic design, architecture, creative marketing and real estate, promising fans a wide range of artistic interpretations to choose from.
Every Mercedes NFT purchaser will automatically be entered into a raffle that will take place once collective NFT sales reach $1 million, and artists will also have their own exclusive raffle once collective sales reach $2 million. It is noteworthy that the prize of each draw is a real Mercedes G-Class!
