Award-winning music producer Timbaland brings his pioneering talent to the NFT space. Blockchain is a mix of nuggets of non-interchangeable splendor.

In support of his latest EP, Opera Noir, Timbaland has split each track from the release into its component parts and immortalized those parts on the blockchain as “bits”, “hooks” and “bases”. Consequently, collectors purchasing at least two of these NFTs will have access to a web-based mixing application that will allow users to manipulate music to create their own remixes.

These pieces of music will be auctioned off from time to time during November and December, with the first such offer falling on November 2nd. Additionally, anyone who collects five or more items from the collection will receive an additional full-length NFT song as a bonus. As a result, Timbaland is enthusiastic about this new direction and the additional channel it provides for interacting with the fanbase.

Timbaland was joined by husband and wife, Kevin and Jennifer McCoy on his NFT journey. Kevin achieved interchangeable fame by creating the “first ever” NFT, Quantum. The couple now heads up blockchain firm Moneygraph, which is using its state-of-the-art technology to bring this new project to life. In addition, Kevin and Jennifer are also the artists responsible for the visuals that accompany each NFT.
