Just went through another Thanksgiving dinner surrounded by family members who denounced Trump’s latest stupidity but sighing how “this is how things are”.

It was disappointing. The idea this how how men are, collectively (young and old) that it’s somehow inherent to them by the grace of their sex is abhorrent, ignorant and cowardly. No, this is not “normal”, this is WRONG, and to approach it as though part and parcel of being a male is a gross disservice to them all, as a class.

For those curious, I did express that, I did argue with many (men and women) and I won’t ever, ever shut up about it. At least my nieces and nephews had one adult who expressed common sense.
