These lists are always interesting and inevitably there’s a bit of yelling in the comments. I’m interested to see you don’t seem overly fond of Arrival and in the final list Hail Caesar was rated higher. I did enjoy the rollicking bonkers nature of that film but Arrival really stood out for me as the best film I’ve seen all year, above La La Land. I’m interested to hear what it was about Arrival that didn’t impress. (Not see Moonlight yet but I think I’ll dash off before the Oscars.) Thanks.
