Becoming a Champion with CloudFactory
In order to be a champion, one needs to improve on his/her speed, accuracy and quality of work output.
Improving on SPEED
I use Ctrl + Backspace hotkey most of the time when transcribing. This hotkey allows you to type faster as you go back one second and therefore you tend to finish a transcript by listening to the audio once.
Improving on ACCURACY
On difficult tasks, take your time to Google search for the difficult words and make sure to get the word correctly. Avoid use of [INAUDIBLE] [UNKNOWN] since I believe these words can be found.
We tend to use the above labels since we are in a hurry to rack up some $$. I take my time to find difficult words on difficult tasks then use use Ctrl + C to copy my transcript, Ctrl + R to refresh my browser.
Most of the time when one refreshes his/her browser, the clip shown is mostly the one placed on your clipboard. Therefore, one needs to Ctrl + V to paste, then listen to the audio and hit submit.
This tip submits tasks efficiently, since you’d take time to search for difficult words and get to transcribe them correctly and improves on your average earnings per hour.
