And we’re back in the USA…..but I definitely don’t want to be. Being away for so long (7 weeks) has taught me a lot and I have so much to say — get ready for some serious blogging. I know all that happened here from shootings to presidential nonsense as the rest of the world is very aware of the US. But honestly those countries seemed far normal than ours. As such, this will be last year in the American Education system for some time. I have become extremely inspired to live and teach abroad for a little and then come back with more knowledge and ideas to make America better. Running away doesn’t make it better, but right now I’m not finding the right connections here and honestly I was laughing and disappointed in the US the entire time I was abroad. I also learned that happiness matters so much more than money, as I saw people who said hello to each other instead of mind-controlled by a smartphone (getting mine back tomorrow hopefully). Anyways, thank you to those of you who emailed me — you know who you are and I say we should definitely get drinks some time soon. If you called or texted sorry I didn’t respond as I lost my phone and a whole lot more on this journey. Still I gained even more and so far the top picks for new places to live are: Dubai, Brasil, Colombia, Thailand, maybe Vietnam, Portugal. In terms of Africa — unless South Africa or Kenya have great deals nothing seemed promising enough. In terms of Europe — I need more research on the Netherlands, Germany and Czech Republic to see if they would work. In the mean time, thank you for all the away love and I’ll get to all these messages, friend requests and notifications. Don’t forget MultiethnicMastery.com returns with hopefully newsletters and twitter @CaliforniaHP, instagram @mhptonyc
