If love was edible, it’d probably taste a lot like red velvet desserts. The silken textured, peppy coloured desserts have been taking the city by storm for a while now. From the traditional cakes to other not-so-traditional options, we’ve seen it all.

Mumbai Foodie presents a list of patisseries and bakeries that offer the best red velvet desserts in the city.

  1. Cakes

This one was super hard to decide on but we let The Sassy Spoon and Country of Origin take the cake, quite literally. Rachel Goenka’s take on red velvet is called ‘sassy stacks’ and is served with cappuccino foam and raspberry caviar! Country of Origin also offers a super moist version. Go check them both out!

2. Cupcakes

Cupcakes are just cute little cakes and chef Kainaz knows how to do them right. Theobroma most certainly wins with its red velvet cupcakes. We have a co-star here too. Toujours has won the heart of all velvet lovers with its super moist cupcakes.
