#GetThisMummyMoving — I Pledge to Move Every Single Day For a Month
After my daughter was born I didn’t move very much, I mean I walked everywhere but rarely raised my heart rate. I didn’t realise at the time but my mood slid with the lack of activity. It wasn’t until I took up a weekly postnatal pilates class that I found out being active helped me feel better. When I started running regularly, that too was a game changer.
I want to get mums moving!
It is possible to get your body moving every single day and it will make you feel better and to prove it’s not that hard, I am going to do it!
So, whether it’s a little 10min stretching routine, half hour dog walk or a 10km run, I pledge to move every single day for the next month.
My aim is to not make it a chore — I’m going to try simple exercise options, like short Pilates routines you can do with your baby and walking or running, for which you need very little to get started (read what you need here).
