ISIS a gang of thugs, warned Prophet
ISIS or Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, also known with Arabic acronym Daʿish that have taken the entire world with surprise by their extreme tyranny is being denounced by all human beings and countries.
The group under Iraq-origin fugitive extremist Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi went on to distort Islam and destroyed many mosques, churches and monasteries and other monuments of historical significance — with a zeal — to establish Caliphate.
Not just the Prophet Mohammad foretold about these events unfolding in the Mediterranean region, but had warned Muslims against their nefarious designs potentially harmful to the Islamic community and rest of the world.
Despite, bloodshed, oppression and all barbaric acts, many of the Muslims, especially the near-extremist Sunnis, and the Saudi-based Wahhabi sect glorify Baghdadi and his treacherous ideology. Needless to say that disconnect with Islam and Prophet’s teachings is palpable.
Since Iraq invasion, these dacoits have destroyed a number of shrines under the pretext that they represented signs of polytheism according to their ‘extreme interpretation’ of Sharia law.
“They torched 11 churches and monasteries out of 35 scattered across the city of Mosul, and hours later destroyed statues of poets, literary and historical figures of which Mosul has long been proud,” a local Nineveh official, Zuhair al-Chalabi was quoted as saying.
The Prophet Mohammad strictly warned against any mistreatment to people of other faiths.
He said, “Beware! Whoever is cruel and hard on a non-Muslim minority, or curtails their rights, or burdens them with more than they can bear, or takes anything from them against their free will; I (Prophet Muhammad) will complain against the person on the Day of Judgment.” (Abu Dawud).
Further, holy Quran (2:256) quotes: “There is no compulsion in religion”
The Prophet warned against accusing people of polytheism and of taking up the sword against them.
He said, “The person I fear for you the most is the man who has read the Qur’an, cast it off and thrown it behind him, and taken up the sword against his neighbor and accused him of polytheism” (Ibn Habban in his Sahih, (Vol 1, page 282)
These were not only mentions. Prophet Mohammad went on to say precisely about ISIS muggers.
Pointing towards Iraq, he was quoted as saying: O People, I warn you! A group of people will emerge whose surname would be a name of city (Al-Baghdadi), and they would try to mislead people and do atrocities in the name of religion.
These murders must be denounced in all possible forms by one and all. Is not?
