Delroy Lindo Has Been Great for Years

Sometimes when you are watching a movie you see an actor for the first time and you wonder why you have never heard of them or seen them before. Maybe they are new to the business and you are witnessing one of the first glimpses of their brilliance. Perhaps they were once a great star but faded into obscurity until this recent performance you have watched, shinning a revitalized light on the actor. One might be tempted to fit actor Delroy Lindo into one of these categories, who many have just been awestruck by his performance in Spike Lee’s new film, Da 5 Bloods. The case with Lindo isn’t either of the situations that I outlined above. Instead, he is the example of an actor who has been phenomenal since the very beginning of his career, but never got the critical attention he deserved.
