The Misleading Fantasy of a Secure Life After Engineering

I can relate to every line here. I passed out of Sairam (I cringe when people ask me where I studied) and almost sold my soul to a mass recruiting IT company before ending up where I am right now. And it’s reading and trying my hand at various things that helped me get through the hell hole that was college.

Something I learnt: Never settle. Even if you get into a mediocre course but the college is good and gives you good exposure, just go for it! It’s mostly about the peer network.

Thanks for writing this, Christina. Such beautifully articulated points! I just wish I had read this a few years earlier :)
