Why Silicon Valley is all wrong about Apple’s AirPods

I’m in Kenya. We don’t even have an apple store here (they’ve licensed some overpriced distributor) or maybe our market isn’t worth investing in. I was going to say Apple is a marketing company (I thought that’s what you’d say) but if you read tipping point you’ll understand why those airpods will work but to be honest in a developing country like Kenya people are big on ear phones… you’ll probably get robbed if you’re walking in some parts of our beloved capital city speaking on your airpods( plus people around here (the mass market you speak of) do not really advocate speaking to yourself which is what you’d look like even when using a China made Bluetooth headset) people like to fit in and even when feigning it I’m not about to stick out like a sore thumb in a forum by using my airpods. But then again it’s ingenious … but I can count the number of Kenyans in our 40 million+ population that will purchase that I Phone 7 ( when it reaches here)
