Elon Musk’s Fragile Ego

Elon Musk’s ego is a fragile as we thought it was.

Someone once said Elon Musk is Trump without the charisma. Elon does have a lot in common with Trump. Like Trump, Elon is a loudmouth. Like Trump, Elon loves to sit on Twitter and complain.

And today, it appears Elon also has another thing in common with Trump: A fragile ego.

According to a report on the news website, Platformer, Elon convened a staff meeting to not about how to increase revenue, not talk about how to make Twitter more user-friendly.

He convened a meeting to demand why his tweets are not getting as much engagement as they deserve. According to “multiple sources” who talked to Platformer, Elon screamed

“This is ridiculous, I have more than 100 million followers, and I’m only getting tens of thousands of impressions.”

He then accused Twitter engineers of intentionally restricting his reach on Twitter.

Elon is 51 years old. He is an adult. But here he is worrying about how many “impressions” his tweets get. Here he is worrying about popularity.

At 51, you are supposed to have self-worth that is not dependent on approval from others. You are no longer a teenager. You shouldn’t care…
