via N3rdmuscl3 http://ift.tt/1QK4BgK What if you look back on life and all you can remember is the excuses you’ve made as to why you didn’t achieve your goals… you don’t want to be that person. People make excuses all the time… especially for why they can’t get in shape or go workout. Here are 3 things you should think about if you’re an excuse maker. 1) No trophy or award goes out to the person with the best excuse. And quite frankly, people are usually so focused on themselves and their life, almost no one cares for your excuse. As the saying the goes “Money talks, Bullshit walks” and that’s the same for fitness. 2) Plan your production. How many reps you gonna do? How many miles you gonna run? How many calories you gonna eat? What will you do with your time? A bad plan is always better than no plan at all. Ben Franklin said it best, “If you’re failing to plan, then you’re planning to fail”. Life is short, most people fail at reaching their goals, you don’t want that for your life! 3) Think about opportunity costs. We only have 24hrs in a day. And we only have 365 days in a year. And we only have so many years on this planet before it’s time to go. What are you wasting time on? Can you really not cut out procrastination and squeeze in 30–45 min here or there for a workout? And if you don’t have time to do it now, then when??? Do you think you going to live to be 900? Well, you can’t do that if your body isn’t in shape, functioning properly, and operating at it’s best. Every action we take now will either be good for our future or horrible for our future… and excuse making has proven to never help.
