This is some good information, that every service member should be aware of. I would prefer it focus more on how to speak out properly and did not have a “better off not” tone. People are going to say what they are going to say. Regardless, they should know the potential legal obstacles and this article does a great job laying some of them out.

I would be interested to know if there is a danger of administrative actions, rather than legal actions being used to prosecute similar cases of the abuse of free speech. An example of admin vs. legal is how a Soldier is given a GOMOR automatically after being charged with a DWI, before any sort legal proceeding. Perhaps a follow up is in order?
