Life in 5: Anna Goebel
Pursuing my passion on the field and in the classroom
Hi everyone! My name is Anna, I’m #13 on NAU Socccer and a senior studying Visual Communications.
Soccer is my everything ⚽️
Soccer means everything to me. I grew up playing the game and it helped shape me into the person I am today.
I have learned so much by being a soccer player. It’s more than just a game — it’s my everything.
In my career, I have played in over 59 games!
I love my team here at NAU and wouldn’t want it any other way. Soccer has helped me build lasting relationships, gave me some of my best friends, and showed me how to be a team player. I have had experiences beyond my imagination because of this game.
Practice makes perfect ⚽️
Soccer taught me how to work hard, be dedicated, and never give up. It also taught me practice makes perfect, so I always make a point to be early to practice to work on what I need to before we practice as a team.
I 💛 to create something from nothing 🎨
As a visual communications major, I love being able to create something out of nothing. Being able to visualize my designs and put them onto a digital canvas gives me so much joy.
In this photo you can see my logo design for a client that I worked with for my visual design lab class.
Blending sports and work🏃💻
Being a student athlete, I hold sports close to my heart. I am currently taking a field work class and have the opportunity to intern with the Athletics Department doing graphic design.
Although it doesn’t feel like work when it’s fun 😉
My True Love 🐇
This is my bunny, Captain. He’s Mr. Independent, but I still love him. This is a rare moment when he actually lets me hold him.
