Next Coast ETA is thrilled to announce our investment in Pharmacy Specialists, alongside Jessica Patterson and Joe Odell. NC ETA invested in Steadfast Horizon and has been working with Jess and Joe on both their search and diligence of Pharmacy Specialists since Day 1. It has been a real pleasure to work with both, and witness their complementary skillsets at work, their organization, drive, and resilience throughout the process.
Pharmacy Specialists provides home infusion therapy medications/supplies and education to hospital patients who discharge into the homecare setting. Pharmacy Specialists serves thousands of patients across the states of Texas and Louisiana. With a rising preference for home care, Pharmacy Specialists is well positioned to cater to patients who prefer, and are able to, receive treatment in the comfort of their homes.
Pharmacy Specialists is in a growing market which is expected to expand at a CAGR of 7.3% from 2021 to 2027 (1). We have seen that the market has both high barriers for entry as well as high fragmentation, with Pharmacy Specialists representing around 6% of the Dallas market. Between plans for increased operational efficiencies and targeted growth strategies we are excited for the company’s future.
