Is your point about ‘Bron’s commercials presenting a picture of his shifting persona at all hurt by your choice to use only the one Sprite commercial as your representation of present day James?

He’s been doing soda and beverage (powerade, etc) commercials for years and years (I think since Kobe’s rape scandal…?) and those spots have never focused on inspiration & motivation the way the Nike spots do.

Seems disingenuous to use one Sprite ad as a representation of current day Lebron, when the goofy soda-pitchman has been there all along. The shifting perception through shoe ads angle is interesting, but Lebron has done ads for other brands many times, some of them (like the Yatchy spot) totally goofy and devoid of Nike-style messaging
