Kogi: Tribunal Decides Senator Isah Jibrin is Duly Elected

The Kogi State Election Petition Tribunal has dismissed a Kogi East Senatorial District petition filed by Senator Ali Atai Aidoko Usman and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) against Isah Jibrin, All Progressive Congress (APC), Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the returning officer Kogi Senatorial District with petition number EPT/KG/SEN/13/2019.

The Petition was dismissed because the petitioners could not prove their case that Senator Isah Jubril Echocho of APC was at the time of election not qualified to contest for election, alleged corrupt practices and not fully elected by majority of lawful votes casted at the election.
