NYCEDC Global Business Exchange

Exchange Program to Build on NYC’s Commitment to Global Entrepreneurship and Inclusion

The NYCEDC Global Business Exchange (GBX) is a competition organized by the City of New York in partnership with cities around the world to reinforce economic relations and support business growth. Organized by the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) and organizations from partner cities, GBX offers up to 10 companies from each city a unique opportunity for international expansion. Winning companies receive 6 months of free office space, return airfare, events, and business development support to help their growth.

The very first NYCEDC GBX with Paris was launched in October 2015. The exchange, organized in partnership with Paris&Co, brought 10 companies from Paris to NYC and sent 8 NYC companies to Paris for 6 months.

In this blog, our participants will be sharing their experience in the program over the next few months. You can learn more about them below. Our aim is to make this a place where businesses from NYC and elsewhere can learn more about international opportunities and growing their business abroad.
