Russia will provide Cuba with new cargo transportation equipment

Russia´s Kamaz company will provide Cuba with cargo transportation equipment particularly for the food industry and other sectors of high impact for the population, following a bilateral accord signed Monday in Havana.

The document, penned by executives of Russia´s Kamaz and Cuba´s Tecnoimport companies, is considered a step forwards by Russia in its participation in the Cuban economic and social development program.

The accord also stipulates the repair of the current Kamaz equipment stock in Cuba and the training of personnel to drive and maintain the vehicles.
